Origin & Development

The Universal Generator is a rich fusion of insights such as Zen, I Ching, the core understandings of many spiritual traditions, modern research into the way consciousness works, DNA and social dynamics, quantum theory, relativity, meme theory and chaos dynamics.

The workings of the Universal Generator also includes a deep interplay of the ancient and all-pervading symbolism of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, suffused with the mystery of life.

Years of study into existing spiritual traditions as well as deep ongoing personal experimentation with consciousness processes have gone into the development of the Universal Generator.

This research resulted in the discovery of the core, underlying dynamic principles by which we run our lives.

We use these principles to create the content and experience of our world.

These principles are now encoded in the Universal Generator.

The Universal Generator is an algorithm centred in a four dimensional consciousness "landscape" that models the entire range of states of consciousness, from "asleep" to "awake".

The Activation process, based on responses to six questions, accesses the particular "node" in the landscape and generates the relevant response.

What is important in this process is not the detailed content of the enquirer's life but the overall dynamics in which their consciousness is acting, creating the content and experience of their lives.

River of Night. Moon-washed sky. Awake, and observe the other side of the river of life.

Actual/Real/Truth: How life, the world, the universe actually is, whatever that may be.

Ideas: Mental creations about life and the world, which we use to build the beliefs that we live our lives by.

Beliefs: Sets of ideas that we consider "true" about our lives and the world, from which we create the content and experience of our lives.

Consciousness: Clear awareness, free of all ideas of "reality". Completely aware of the consequences of ideas and actions.

Identity/Self image: The person, the "me", that exists in the world with name, bank account, job, partner and life history.

Suffering: Life experiences created by a mismatch between ideas of what actually is and what actually is.

Real "Self": The immense and complete being we are, underneath all the filters, ideas and self limitations that give people their sense of identity and meaning.
